Decimal Design

 Decimal Design Project

This is a representation of the first game of the 2007 World Series which I used for my Decimal Design Project. I decided on this design because it is the first postseason game that I went to and 2007 was a great year for the Red Sox.

There were 10,000 grid spaces on this design. I needed this information to help with the decimal values of each color. I counted up the amount of spaces for each color to convert it into a decimal amount. For example, there were 1120 grid spaces colored in blue so the decimal value for blue was 0.112. The largest decimal values were green with 0.2594 and gray with 0.2249. The smallest decimal value was red with 0.0054.
